The LA Marathon rebrand was an opportunity to create a modern, cohesive identity that reflects the energy, diversity, and movement of Los Angeles. Moving away from the abstract design of the old logo, the new geometric design symbolizes the interconnected communities along the marathon course while ensuring bold recognition across all platforms. A curated color palette further reinforces the city’s vibrant culture. Beyond the main event, the rebrand extended to the Rose Bowl Half Marathon, Santa Monica Classic, LA Big 5K, and other races under the LA Marathon umbrella, creating a unified visual system that strengthens brand recognition and connection across all events.
